Richford Take Delivery of a New Century™ 2465 from Boniface

Like many operators up and down the country, Richford Motor Services are constantly looking for ways to improve efficiency and fuel costs in their business.  They have already had a lot of success using 4 wheelers and have proven the benefits these bring over their larger vehicles.  Richford’s latest acquisition from Boniface is a new Century™ 2465 fitted to a 12t crew cab MAN chassis.  This equipment is only the 2nd unit of its type to be installed by Boniface and when combined with a relatively small chassis it is ideal for moving horse boxes, large vans and carrying out all those in-between jobs that are too big for a conventional spec lift but too small for an 18 tonner.  The equipment includes twin 12,000lb winches, a top recovery boom as well as rear stiff legs making it a very versatile machine capable of doing not only lift and tow operations but also medium duty winching jobs as well.

Like all Richford Motors builds, this vehicle was specified with a whole host of optional extras to add to its versatility and capabilities including dolly wheels, forks & 6000lb L-arms. The size and style of the 2465 means it can get into places where larger vehicles can’t reach and it is equipped to cope with almost any situation it is sent to deal with. The equipment is complimented by a low height aluminium body with a large front through locker which has been custom stowed by the Boniface craftsmen to Richford’s exacting standards making this a truly unique and very useful recovery vehicle.
