Another Boniface VLA For Oasis Rescue

Continuing with their 2023 fleet upgrade and expansion programme, Rayan and Anya from Oasis Rescue and Recovery returned to Boniface to collect another 5t VLA slidebed – this time fitted to a 12 tonne GVW Renault crew cab with rear air suspension.

As always, the striking Oasis graphics make this vehicle a real head-turner and one that will promote a very positive professional company image whilst out on the road.  Oasis’ continued investment into their business has resulted in a very modern fleet – most of which is Euro 6 compliant enabling them to travel without restriction or additional expense into the new low emission zones which are now becoming increasingly common throughout the country.

The VLA slidebed is a very robust, reliable and capable product that has been extensively used by operators all over the UK for many years. It is available in three capacities, 3t, 5t and 6t and on larger chassis is available with a 2t capacity 2nd car lift.  One of the many standard features of the VLA is a sliding 8,000lb hydraulic winch that allows the operator to easily maintain a straight pull on the vehicle’s towing eye. The 2t capacity 2nd car lift is adjustable for both width and tire size allowing the operator to move anything from the smallest car to the largest van. Like most Boniface slide beds, the subframe and tipping frames are fully galvanized to help prolong equipment life and the body is fitted with LED beacon, work lights and marker lights - all of which will provide years of reliable service.  The VLA slidebed has lever controls housed in a locker at the rear but is usually operated by a single button on the radio remote control which may also used to control the winch.  The VLA is fitted with rubberized ground contact rollers which help to make operation of the bed both smooth and quiet,  whilst clearly labeled controls make operating the product very user friendly.

This latest vehicle for Oasis was built to their exact requirements and included some optional extras such as wrecker kit, trailer board, radio remote control, side winching points to name just a few.
